Der Kunnerstein befindet sich am Südhang des Schellenberges und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf die Zschopau in Richtung Hennersdorf und Kunnersdorf.
Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts entstand dort ein Ausflugsrestaurant, das bis 1972 bestand. Heute befindet sich an dieser Stelle eine geräumige Schutzhütte. Sie dient großen und kleinen Wanderern als Rastplatz.
