The Kirschfelsen is a wonderful viewpoint in the middle of the Pfälzerwald-Nordvogesen Biosphere Reserve. It is located near the Annweiler Forsthaus / Schwarzer Fuchs. There is also a hiking parking lot. Access is via the B48 Wellbachtal.
A panoramic swing and benches invite you to linger and enjoy the view. There is also a shelter. The viewpoint can be reached via the Naturpark circular hiking trail 3. The easy path is barrier-free and accessible with strollers. In that case, you should use the same way back, as the circular path continues over a steep zigzag path. The easy path is 2 km long, the circular path is 5.3 km.
