Am Rande des Dollartwatt liegt der Beobachtungsturm Kiekkaaste.

Am Rande des Dollartwatt liegt der Beobachtungsturm Kiekkaaste. Auf hohen Stelzen steht er sicher vor den Sturmfluten. Von hier aus kann man das Leben im Watt hautnah beobachten. Im Watt vor dem Turm suchen bei Niedrigwasser Watvögel und Enten nach Nahrung im Schlick. Bei Hochwasser jagt die Rohrweihe über dem Schilf und manchmal kann man einen Seehund vor dem Turm sehen. Der Turm ist jederzeit zugänglich. Informieren Sie sich jedoch vor Ihrem Besuch über die Hochwasserzeiten. Besonders bei Springtiden kann das Wasser den unbefestigten Fußweg überfluten! Nehmen Sie auf jeden Fall Gummistiefel und ein Fernglas mit an den Dollart. Der Kiekkaaste ist ab Abfahrt Bunde-West (A280) ausgeschildert.
