The Huberfelsen is a small granite rock tower located on the fourth stage of the ZweiTälerSteig.
It serves as a viewpoint into the Elz Valley with an easy ascent and a small platform with iron railings. Due to its striking appearance, it is often referred to as a submarine.
The rock was named after the former head bailiff of Triberg, Theodor Huber, and became a memorial to him in 1902. Since then, a small plaque on the rock has honoured its namesake.
Theodor Huber promoted the construction of mountain roads, such as the one from Triberg to Hausach, which passed right by this spot.
