At an altitude of 614 meters above sea level, the Eifel View offers a sight towards south-southeast, encompassing the impressive volcanic complex Mosenberg near Bettenfeld and the ridges of the Hunsrück in the background. Not far away, the only cold water geyser in the Vulkaneifel, the "Wallende Born" in the neighboring town of the same name invites a visit. The Eifel View was named after the nearby spring of the river Salm, which winds through the area and flows into the Moselle near Klüsserath.
