The kite take-off ramp is located directly on the Prädikatswanderweg Preußensteig hiking trail on the Herzerberg, the highest mountain in the district of Kusel.

Here on the Herzerberg, you have a fantastic view over the Palatinate mountains.
The kite ramp is an ideal picnic spot.
If the weather is right, you can watch the hang-gliders there.

Launch site: Directly in front of the ramp. The launch site is large and level. It is large enough for approx. 20 kites.
Launch altitude: 586 m above sea level

Note: Observe current and general information and restrictions on the information board! Our launch site is located in the ED-R 116 and for cross-country flights the corresponding take-off directions must be observed. Paragliding is unfortunately not permitted due to the nature of the terrain
