Il passo o colle d'Anzana è il più agevole valico che congiunge il versante retico valtellinese alla Val Saiento.
Ha un interesse paesaggistico, visto il bellissimo sguardo panoramico sulla media Valtellina e le Orobie, ma anche storico. Il passo è sempre stato una via di comunicazione importante, per i contrabbandi prima e, durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, per la fuga di numerosi Ebrei, che espatriavano dall'Italia per sfuggire all'ordine di cattura emanato dalla Repubblica di Salò nel dicembre del 1943.
Dalla sua cima partono alcuni percorsi di downhill in mountain bike molto famosi: il più conosciuto di questi scende al fondovalle di Tirano, con un dislivello di 1800 metri.
