The Bockstein rock is easily accessible from the parking lot at the Angelweiher in Ockfen. From there, you simply need to follow the signs for about 1.5 km to the Saar-Riesling-Steig. The Bockstein rock and its accompanying summit cross offer a wonderful view over the wine villages of Ockfen and Irsch, the vineyards, and the Saartal towards Saarburg. The Bockstein rock, made of granite, is located at an elevation of 348 m.
