Directions to the hiking parking lot Traumschleife Gräfin Loretta, Frauenberg
By car
Coming from Baumholder:
Leave Baumholder via L 169 towards Idar-Oberstein. Turn right at the traffic light towards Idar-Oberstein. At the next intersection, turn right onto L 176 towards Idar-Oberstein. You will pass Reichenbach. Then Frauenberg will be on your right side. Turn right and then immediately right again towards Sonnenberg-Winnenberg. Shortly thereafter, before the Nahe bridge, turn left at the old inn Burgschänke into Bahnhofstraße. The hiking parking lot is after about 100 m on the left side. The parking lot is marked for the Traumschleife Gräfin Loretta.
Coming from Idar-Oberstein:
Follow L176 towards Baumholder until the turn-off to Frauenberg. Here, turn left and then immediately right towards Sonnenberg-Winnenberg. Shortly thereafter, before the Nahe bridge, turn left at the old inn Burgschänke into Bahnhofstraße. The hiking parking lot is after about 100 m on the left side. The parking lot is marked for the Traumschleife Gräfin Loretta.
Coming from Birkenfeld:
Follow B41 to Oberbrombach. In Oberbrombach, turn right towards Sonnenberg-Winnenberg. Follow K14 to Sonnenberg. In the village, turn left and go down the valley towards Frauenberg. In the valley, just after the Nahe bridge, turn right. After about 150 m, the hiking parking lot is on the left side.
Follow the course of the Traumschleife. The viewpoint Wildelei awaits you just below the Nahe head, after about 3 km.
