An einem klaren Tag hat man eines der herausragenden Landschaftserlebnisse im Bodenseeraum.

Im Nordwesten sieht man den Rücken des Gehrenberg, rechts dahinter den Höchsten und davor den Horach. Im Norden schaut man ins Schussental hinauf und entdeckt den Ravensburger Mehlsack, die Veitsburg und die Basilika in Weingarten. Im Osten ist die Waldburg zu sehen und hinter Tettnang und dem barocken Neuen Schloss, ziehen Wälder zum Pfänder und den Allgäuer Bergen. Im Süden genießt man dann den Blick auf Friedrichshafen und das gewaltige Alpenpanorama.

Mit den Buslinien 13, 14, 15 oder 16 des Stadtverkehrs Friedrichshafen bis zur Haltestelle Ailingen Rathaus. Von dort geht es zu Fuß durch die Rathausanlagen über den Schulhof und der Wanderbeschilderung folgend bis zur Kappelle ( ca. 15 Gehminuten)

Parking

4-5 kostenfreie Parkplätze im Haldenweg beim Spielplatz. Von dort sind es noch ca. 5 Gehminuten zur Kapelle.
