Fasnet in DormettingenPhoto: Gemeinde Dormettingen
The Dormettinger Fasnet looks back on a long tradition. As early as 1838, carnival activities in the village are documented in the municipal chronicles.
The main figure is the Klotzmesser, which was created in 1972. Another figure with an old tradition in the Dormettinger Fasnet is the Fuchswadel, which has been widespread in the region for decades. As the leading figure, the Waldmeister takes on an organizing function during the processions.
