- A historical building that houses a gallery, information centre and a history exhibition
- A mystery of a Brno's dragon
- Passage under the Hall
Like an every touristic city Brno has it's own Town Hall with a main city view point. But there is a thing, that makes this ordinary place a special one - a carcas of an actual crocodile hanging in the passage under the hall! You will be surprised that citizens call this dangerous animal a dragon according to the one of the most popular city legends. Once the dragon made a Brno it's home and treatened the locals. No one seemed to know how to stop him. Merchants stopped coming to the city to sell, and women stopped going to the market.
Luckily one day a butcher who was travelling through Brno created a trap to get rid of the Dragon . The trap was filled with lime. The dragon became very thirsty after meal and just burst after drinking too much river water. Then, the citizens celebrated by having the dragon (which is actually a crocodile)preserved and now we can see it hanging from the Old Town Hall !
