Slovenské komorné divadlo v MartinePhoto: Aneta Štancľová, Turiec
Národný dom, v ktorom od svojho vzniku sídli, bol postavený v roku predovšetkým z financií slovenskej národne orientovanej podnikateľskej vrstvy obyvateľov daného obdobia podľa projektu architekta Blažeja Bullu. Budova je považovaná za jeho vrcholné dielo. V rokoch 2001-2008 prešiel Národný dom rozsiahlou rekonštrukciou.
V roku 1994 bolo uvedené do prevádzky Štúdio (Budova štúdia SKD Martin), ktoré ponúka svojím technickým a priestorovým vybavením široké možnosti využitia. Okrem pravidelnej divadelnej produkcie sú v priestoroch Štúdia organizované významné kultúrne a spoločenské podujatia. V Štúdiu je možnosť výroby zvukového záznamu na vysokej technickej úrovni.
