Romantisch gelegen ist das Engelsmeer – ein noch sehr ursprünglicher Moorsee. Hier finden sich viele schützenswerte Pflanzen und Tiere. Daher ist es seit 1938 ein Naturschutzgebiet. Das nur rund 2 ha große Areal beherbergt einen Moorsee mit streckenweise breitem Verlandungsgürtel und umgebendem Birkenwald auf entwässertem Hochmoor. Mit einem Fernglas sind eine Menge Wasservögel zu beobachten.
