Die Versalspitze ist ein sehr lohnender Gipfel im Europaschutzgebiet Verwall. Die atemberaubende Aussicht in die Gebirgsgruppen des Rätikons und der Silvretta entschädigen für den etwas mühevollen Anstieg. Kurz unter dem Gipfel erwartet den Wanderer schon ein imposantes Hochplateau. Zurück führt der Weg über Europas bedeutenstes Hochmoor, dem Wiegensee zur Bergstation der Tafamuntbahn.
