At 2999 m, the Große Zinne forms the highest elevation of the massif, followed by the Westliche Zinne (2,973 m) and the Kleine Zinne (2,857 m).
The vertical to overhanging north faces not only have a great attraction for alpine climbers, but also form an impressive backdrop for hikers, who can circle the massif on easy trails and in some cases hike right up close to the towering walls.
