Located in Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd is the highest mountain in Wales called Snowdon, It reaches a height of 1,085 metres above sea level, and is the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. Snowdonia is the third most visited attraction in Wales and is the busiest mountain in the United Kingdom. Snowdon was also designated as a national nature reserve for its rare flora and fauna.
