Der Puig de Querroig ist ein 672 m hoher Berg direkt auf der Staatsgrenze zwischen Frankreich und Spanien.
Erstmals wurde der Gipfel im Jahr 981 als Cariorubio erwähnt. Damals war der Puig de Querroig im Besitz des Grafen Gausfred I. Heute liegt der Gipfel genau auf der Staatsgrenze zwischen Girona und dem Roussillion. Während der Südhang zum katalanischen Portbou gehört, bildet der Nordgrat die Grenze zwischen den französischen Gemeinden Banyuls-sur-Mer und Cerbère. Der Puig de Querroig kann bereits aus weiter Ferne gesehen werden und wird über einen Forstweg vom Coll dels Belitres erreicht, der etwa 3,5 km östlich liegt. Der Weg folgt dem Grenzverlauf und überquert den Puig dels Frares und den Coll de la Farella. auf dem Gipfel wurde im 10. Jahrhundert eine Burganlage errichtet. Nach dem Verfall wurde auf deren Ruinen ein runder Turm, der Torre de Querroig, errichtet, der heute noch in Bruchstücken zu sehen ist.
