The Pic du Jer can also be reached by a funicular railway, which has been in operation since 1900 and takes users up to 950 metres. The funicular follows a 1,100-metre route, on a gradient that varies between 27% (at the very beginning) and 56%. The route includes two tunnels and a viaduct.
