Der Westgipfel des Liskamm ist mit 4.479 m knapp 50 m niedriger als der Ostgipfel und nur wenig leichter zu besteigen. Über einen schmalen Grat sind die beiden Gipfel miteinander verbunden. Die bekannte Liskamm-Überschreitung führt genau über diesen Grat vom West- zum Ostgipfel.
