One of the "14 eight-thousanders in the Eastern Ore Mountains" - the Himalayas in the Eastern Ore Mountains!

Altitude: 899 m

The two Lugsteine (Großer & Kleiner Lugstein) lie close to each other, opposite the unique Georgenfelder Hochmoor. At the large Lugstein you will find a stamp point which identifies the summit as a destination on the "14 eight-thousanders" tour.

The starter pack gives you your own personal stamp card, which you can use to pick up the original Gipfelstürmer T-shirt from the tourist information office at the end of the tour.

Simply order online here or buy directly at the Tourist Information Office.

The Großer Lugstein is the highest of the 14 eight-thousanders in the Osterzgebirge. This is rewarded with a sweeping view of the countryside. Peaks such as Milešovka (Milleschauer), Kletecna (Kleiner Milleschauer) and Bournák (Stürmer) greet you from the Bohemian Central Mountains. The Ore Mountains ridge, which has a total length of 150 km, runs over the Great Lugstein.
