Am Hohen Stein gibt es Kletterrouten von 4 - 10 Minus nach UIAA und einen kurzen A/B Klettersteig zum Gipfelkreuz mit herrlicher Ausicht auf die Donau.

Mit der Buslinie 720 von Krems oder Melk gut erreichbar im 2 Stunden Rhytmus.

Mit dem Auto gut von Spitz erreichbar, via Rollfähre über die Donau fahren und dann bis zum Parkplatz in Hofarnsdorf. Es kann jedoch auch gut direkt in Oberarnsdorf gestartet werden.

Von Krems oder Melk ist Hinterarnsdorf sehr gut über die B33 erreichbar.

Kostenfreier Parkplatz in Hinterarnsdorf bei der Feuerwehr. Es gibt jedoch auch weitere kostenfreie Parkplätze in der Umgebung.
