Das Hörnle ist von Meßstetten-Tieringen zu Fuß erreichbar und bietet einen herrlichen Blick ins Albvorland.

Das 956 m hohe Hörnle bildet einen breiten Bergkopf am Albtrauf hoch über dem Eyachtal. Er besteht aus Massenkalken der Lochenformation. An seinem Nordfuß befindet sich ein ausgedehntes Felsenmeer. Von hier genießt man einen schönen Blick in das Eyachtal und das Vorland der Schwäbischen Alb.

Attraktive Wanderwege führen hier vorbei, unter anderem die beiden zertifizierten Qualitätswanderwege Donau-Zollernalb-Weg und Albsteig sowie einer der drei Meßstetter Premiumwanderwege "HochAlbPfade": das Tieringer Hörnle.
