Der Heidelbeerkopf (1767 m) ist der mittlere Gipfel der drei Berge in der Sonnenkopf Gruppe, die zwischen dem Retterschwanger Tal (Bad Hindelang) und dem Illertal (Sonthofen - Oberstdorf). Die beiden anderen sind der Sonnenkopf (1712 m) und der Schnippenkopf (1833).
