Another worthwhile route leads via the Ellmaualm to the Trögseen lakes and on to the Gründegg. In winter, the Gründegg is also a popular destination for ski tourers. The moderately difficult ski tour offers a beautiful descent but requires appropriate experience and skiing skills.
