Cristallo
The Cristallo group is a mountain group of the Dolomites in the province of Belluno, north-east of Cortina d'Ampezzo, above the Valle del Boite. The highest peak is Monte Cristallo, which rises 3,221 meters high. The Monte Cristallo is a distinctive mountain peak with steep, rocky rock faces and ridges. As one of the highest peaks of the Dolomites, it offers an impressive panorama. Other notable peaks of the mountain massif are Piz Popena (3152 m), Cima di Mezzo (3154 m) and Cristallino d'Ampezzo (3008 m). The Monte Cristallo consists mainly of main dolomite.
