Der Bschießer ist südöstlich des Iseler und nordwestlich des Ponten gelegen. Die deutsch-österreichische Grenze verläuft direkt über den Gipfel. Häufig wird er auch als „B’schießer“ oder im Tirolerischen als „Bscheißer“ bezeichnet.
Auf den Bschießer führen gut markierte Wege und der Gipfel wird gerne gemeinsam mit dem benachbarten Ponten überschritten. Der letzte Abschnitt bis zum Gipfelkreuz verläuft über ein Geröllfeld. Vom Gipfel hat man einen schönen Ausblick in die Tannheimer Berge mit Aggenstein, Rote Flüh, Gimpel und Köllenspitze.
