Ein aussichtsreicher Gipfel vor der Kulisse des Steinernen Meeres, welcher dem Selbhorn (Klettersteig) vorgelagert ist.

Vom Parkplatz Rohrmoos geht es über Wald- und Wiesenhänge an der Lechneralm vorbei bis zum 1.827m hohen Gipfel des Braggsteines. Genießen Sie die Aussicht und die Stille auf diesem grasbewachsenen Gipfel.

Der Braggstein ist dem Selbhorn, auf das auch ein Klettersteig führt, vorgelagert. Wer zum Klettersteig möchte, der hat noch einen schweißtreibenden Aufstieg zum Einstieg des Klettersteiges, der auf beachtlichen 2.230m liegt, durch Latschenfelder und Geröll vor sich.

Anreise von Salzburg kommend: Auf der Autobahn A10 bis Ausfahrt Bischofshofen, dann auf der B311 in Richtung Bischofshofen. Der Hochkönig Bundesstraße/B164 nach Maria Alm folgen. Hier durch das Orstzentrum und kurz nach dem Zentrum über die Brücke in Richtung Krallerwinkl fahren, weiter der Beschilderung folgend mit dem Auto bis zum Parkplatz Rohrmoos.

Anreise von Innsbruck/ Kufstein kommend: Auf der Loferer Straße/B178 Richtung St. Johann i.T., dann über die Hochkönig Bundesstraße/B164 über Saalfelden nach Maria Alm. Hier durch das Orstzentrum und kurz nach dem Zentrum über die Brücke in Richtung Krallerwinkl fahren, weiter der Beschilderung folgend mit dem Auto bis zum Parkplatz Rohrmoos.

Für die Nutzung des österreichischen Autobahn- und Schnellstraßennetzes ist eine gültige Vignette erforderlich. Ebenfalls gilt eine Mitführpflicht von Verbandszeug, Warndreieck und Warnweste. Weitere Infos dazu unter Asfinag.
