Benát je najnavštevovanejším vrchom v pohorí Pohronský Inovec vďaka skvelým výhľadom a kamennému mestu, ktoré tvorí jeho vrchol.
Benát (692 m n.m.) patrí medzi najkrajšie a najnavštevovanejšie kopce v pohorí Pohronský Inovec, teda okrem najvyššieho Veľkého Inovca (901 m n.m.). Vrchol je navštevovaný z dôvôdu, že turista tu nájde kamenné mesto, ktoré je pozostatkom lávového prúdu, ktorý vytvoril tieto skalné veže a stĺpy. Vrch bol v minulosti a z istej časti i teraz miestom ťažby andezitu.
Na vrchole Benátu je umiestnený kríž s úchvatným výhľadom na celé Horné Požitavie, hrad Jelenec, Hrušov ale i na celé pohorie Tribeč (Veľký Tribeč, Javorový vrch, Žibrica, Zobor).
Na Benát sa turisti vedia dostať po červenej značke (Rudná Magistrála) z obce Žitavany, po modrej, červenej a žltej z obce Machulince alebo po žltej, červenej a žltej značke z obce Tekovské Nemce.
