Südlich des ehemaligen Sanatoriums von Bad Niedernau, etwa 1 km vom Ort entfernt, liegt die römische Quelle im Bereich des ehemaligen Sprudelwerks Niedernauer Römerquelle. Sie war bereits in der Römerzeit als Heilquelle bekannt. Beim Graben nach Mineralwasser stieß man 1836 in einer Tiefe von 5-6 Metern auf das Apollo-Relief, das heute im Quellhaus zu besichtigen ist.
Tipp: Müde Wanderer und Radfahrer können sich hier mit kostenlosem Quellwasser erfrischen.
