Der Bohrturm wurde 1939 erbaut

Der Bohrturm wurde 1939 erbaut, um die Mineralwasserversorgung in Bad Ems sicherzustellen. Der gerade restaurierte Turm ist der letzte seiner Art, der über einer fließenden Heilwasserquelle steht. Er ist einerseits das Schutzgebäude für die unter ihm gefasste Heilquelle und die vorhandene Fördertechnik. Wenn Sie den Bad Emser Haustrunk genießen, trinken Sie Wasser, das hier gefördert wird. Andererseits dient er zur der Wartung der Wasserfördereinrichtung.
