Der Start- und Willkommensplatz bietet auf Übersichts- und Detailplänen Informationen rund um das Leitwanderwegenetz der Wandertrilogie Allgäu. Das Wahrzeichen vergegenwärtigt die zentralen Inhalte des Wanderangebotes: Das Werden der Allgäuer Landschaft - vor rund 10.000 Jahren geformt durch Gletscher (Nagelfluh-Feslsblock), 30 Städte und Gemeinden, die gemeinsam die Wandertrilogie Allgäu entwickelten und mit Leben füllen (blauer Allgäuwürfel), die ummauerten Städte der Heimatstätten (Sandsteinquader mit Geschichtssteinen) und die spannungsreiche Geschichte von Isny (symbolisiert durch den schwarz-weiß Würfel im Corporate Design von Isny - entwickelt vom Grafiker Otl Aicher).
