Come and visit the workshops of the famous potters of Betschdorf!

Les Grès Remmy produce handcrafted and artistic ceramics. It is the oldest family business in France. Created in 1594, originally from the French Ardennes, they settled in Betschdorf in 1820, because this kaolinite could be used for salt vitrification. Between tradition and modernity, they produce Raku ceramics and primitive firing, whose results oscillate between metallic copper and orange tones. Mentioned in the guide du routard published in 2017.
