The Römersee is located between Bad Sauerbrunn and Mattersburg and offers a lot of recreational activities in addition to bathing pleasure.
The Römersee in Bad Sauerbrunn is a versatile recreational paradise in Burgenland, offering plenty for both relaxation seekers and active vacationers. With an area of 44,000 m², the lake invites swimming, sunbathing, and relaxation. For sports activities, there are beach volleyball, tennis, and soccer fields as well as a mini-golf course. Cycling and hiking trails wind through the picturesque surroundings of the Rosalien Mountains.
The facility includes, in addition to the main lake, a biotope, a fish pond, and a dedicated dog swimming pond. Families can enjoy spacious sunbathing lawns, playgrounds, and 150 quality beach loungers. The catering is rounded off by the tavern at the Römersee and the beach hut, which offer regional delicacies and refreshing beverages.
The bathing season extends from June to August. Entrance tickets can be conveniently booked online. For overnight guests, 124 mobile homes are available, allowing for comfortable living amidst nature.
