2020-ban nyílt meg Keszthelyen a korábbi déli szabadstrand helyén a kutyabarát fürdőzőhely.
A biztonsági, duplakapus bejutás után tájékozódhatunk a stranetikettről is: csak jól nevelt, a gazdájára hallgató kutyát vigyünk a strandra, és természetesen itt is mindenkinek kötelessége a kutyája után felszedni a piszkot. Fontos, hogy csak oltott, féreg-hajtott és chippel ellátott kutyákat szabad a területre vinni.
A víz fokozatosan mélyülő, de óvatosan menjünk bele, mert apró kavicsos a talaja.
A park rendezvényhelyszínként is várja a kutyásokat. Kutyás kertmozi, kutyás vásár és kutyatalálkozók, kutyás versenyek szervezésére is készülnek a tulajdonosok a strandszezon után is.

Időjárástól függően - esős, viharos, rossz idő esetén - a strand bezárhat!

- A buszmegállótól induljunk vissza, a város felé a Fenéki úton 500 métert. Jobbra a bekötőúton érjük el a strandot (830 m).
- A strand közvetlenül a Balaton Bringakörút mentén fekszik.
Parking
- A Fenéki útról egy szűk bekötőúton érjük el a strandot, ahol ingyenes parkoló várja a vendégeket.
