The former estate of the Leininger Counts is located west of the Palatine Forest Hut "In der Weilach." One can reach the ruins via the hiking trail "On the Traces of the Celts and Romans" or the "Pfalz Path Weilach: Devil's Stone and Kriemhildenstuhl." Hiking maps are available at the Tourist Info Bad Dürkheim.
The Weilach ruin is located in the northwestern wooded area between Peterskopf and Teufelsstein.
From the former estate, the wall remnants of the ruin are still visible. The facility was built in the 14th century as "Weilacher Hof," destroyed in the year 1790 by a band of robbers who burned down the estate.
