The Nonnenfels is one of the highest peaks of the Palatinate Forest.
The Nonnenfels (picnic bench and table) is named after the legend of the unfortunate, rebellious daughter of the Count of Leiningen, which can be read on the information board on site. Formerly a medieval rock castle, built from 1000 to 1200. On the rock, there is the ruin of a medieval rock castle, which is freely accessible at any time.
