This site is situated on a broad, flattened ridge with fertile cereal soils, just north and overlooking the village of Rebordainhos. According to local tradition, this is believed to be the original church and settlement of Rebordainhos before relocating to the valley.
At the site, no structural remains are detected, but there are some half-round tiles and ceramic fragments on the surface, with difficult-to-determine chronologies, but they might be medieval. It's worth noting that the current village of Rebordainhos has medieval origins and still retains its pillory, suggesting that this area could have been a high medieval settlement and possibly an early medieval church site.
