A Varjas-pihenőPhoto: Vörös Attila, Hungarian Hiking Association
A Varjas-pihenő esőbeállója és turistaút-csomópontja a börzsönyi Hegyhát egyik nyergében helyezkedik el.
Az esőbeálló helyén 1943-ig vadászház állt, majd annak elbontása után alakították ki a pihenőhelyet. A csapadéktól jól védő építmény alá bezsúfolt négy pad körül akár egy iskolai osztály is elfér.
A nyeregtől nyugatra fára festett felirat hívja fel figyelmünket Lapos feltehetően őskori földvársáncának futásirányára. A kissé jellegtelen, nehezen észrevehető „bucka” egészen 2012-ig rejtve maradt a kutató szemek elől, ekkor ismerte fel benne emberi kéz munkáját Bezeczky Árpád, a nemzeti park természetvédelmi őre. Minden bizonnyal egy megkezdett, de be nem fejezett erődítményről van szó.

- A Varjas-pihenőhöz legközelebb a Bernecebaráti, Bem utca buszmegálló található.
- A Kemence, Fő utca 183. buszmegállóban is leszállhatunk.
- Ha különlegesebb élményre vágyunk, a kemencei kisvasúttal annak Godóvár állomásáig utazzunk!

- A Bernecebaráti, Bem utca megállótól a K+, majd S+ jelzéseken érkezünk meg a pihenőhelyre (6,5 km, 316 m szintemelkedés).
- Kemence, Fő utca 183. buszmegállóból a S jelzéseket kövessük (6,6 km, 264 m szintemelkedés).
- A Godóvár állomástól szintén a S jelzések kalauzolnak fel minket a nyeregbe (4,5 km, 247 m szintemelkedés).
- Ha autóval Királyházán parkolunk, onnan a P, majd S jelzések vezetnek a Varjas-pihenőhöz (2,8 km, 187 m szintemelkedés).
- Ha a kocsit a Csarna-völgyben hagyjuk, szintén a S jelzésekre hagyatkozzunk (4,1, 245 m szintemelkedés).
Parking
- A Varjas-pihenőhöz legközelebb Királyházán tudunk parkolni, az idevezető műút azonban engedélyköteles. További infók: https://www.erdeikirandulasok.hu/a-diosjeno-kemence-erdeszeti-maganut-hasznalata.
- Kemencén a Csarna-völgyben vezető Nagyvölgyi út mentén tudunk parkolni.
