Telkibánya és Bózsva között, a Bózsva patak partján mohos, öreg fákkal körbevett pihenőhely áll a legendás Király-kút kőrakásos foglalása mellett. Felette az egykori ércbányászathoz használt táró nyílik, hűs és párás levegőt biztosítva a forrás körüli völgytalpnak.

Az árnyas völgytalpon padok, asztalok és tűzrakó hely fogadnak az erdei tisztás szélén, a meredek hegyoldal tövében, ahol a Király-kút hűs vize fakad.  Mellette stilizált sírhely emlékezik a legendáról, Mátyás király és Szép Ilonka találkozásáról.

A forrás feletti hegyoldalon kővel kirakott bejárat, lezárt táró fúródik a Nagy-Király-hegybe. Ennek ellenére érezhetjük belőle a hegy jeges leheletét, melyet a szifonhatás generál.

„…akkor meglopván a heves vadász, általkarolta karcsú derekát, s piros ajkára hő csókot nyomott.

Aztán, - egyik sem tudta, hogy esett-a szép leányka ékes korsaja véletlenül lehullt és – összetört…!

S ijedtében a völgyi forrás azonnal jéghideggé borzadott…!

a völgyi forrás mohos szélihez, ülvén felette búsan egyedül,

hosszan merengett felbuzgó vizén…

Szemében köny, és hű emlékezés, ajkán sóhajtás, e szótlan beszéd!

S a csendes láz, amelytől a virág elsárgult, lehullt a forrás körül:

Alunni vitte a sápadt leányt, legszebb virágot egykoron…!
