Mayrhofen ist eine Marktgemeinde mit 3840 Einwohnern (Stand 1. Jänner 2017) im Zillertal und gehört zum Bezirk Schwaz in Tirol (Österreich). Die Gemeinde liegt im Gerichtsbezirk Zell am Ziller. Mayrhofen ist heute als Wintersportort für alpines Skifahren bekannt (Wikipedia).
