Ebbe und Flut geben dem kleinen Hafen einen besonderen Charakter.

Der Rantumer Hafen ist der kleinste Hafen von Sylt und liegt im Osten Rantums direkt am Wattenmeer und grenzt an das südliche Ende des Rantumbeckens. Der seit 1977 bestehende Hafen dient als Freizeithafen für Yacht- und Sportboote und hat einen Tiefgang bis zu 1,20m. Aufgrund der Gezeiten ist das Anlaufen des Hafens nur ca. zwei Stunden vor und nach Hochwasser möglich.
