The Sonnenplätzl is a multigenerational place with a playground on the outskirts of Leinsweiler. To let off some steam, there are swings, a zip line, a soccer field, and a sandbox. Numerous seating options with views of the vineyards and the forest invite you to relax.
Picnic in nature
Whether on a hike or a bike tour: A picnic in the open air is a special experience – especially with regional specialties from the Palatinate! To keep nature as untouched as possible, please use only designated rest areas. In forests and vineyards, there are often no trash bins to avoid attracting wildlife and to keep the landscape clean.
Therefore, the rule is: Everything you bring should also be taken back with you. Food scraps and packaging can be dangerous for animals and often take decades to decompose. Dispose of your waste responsibly and thus protect the unique nature of the Palatinate!
