Pilgrimage church of St Romanus; Wolfach-St. Roman
The current church was rebuilt and extended in 1922 and the tower dates from 1902. The oldest part of the church is a Gothic sacrament house from 1481. On the church ceiling are the yard signs of the St. Roman farmers who helped with the construction by providing labour and labour services.
On the outer wall is the gravestone of the Heubach forester Josef Anton Fürst, who was immortalised in literature by the Haslach folk writer Heinrich Hansjakob as "Fürst vom Teufelstein".
