Für die Schluchtensteigwanderer sind genügend kostenlose Parkplätze im Bereich der Stadthalle Stühlingen vorhanden. In wenigen Gehminuten erreichen Sie von dort den Ausgangspunkt der Tour bei der Kirche im Ortszentrum der Unterstadt. Dort befindet sich der erste Wegweiser des Schluchtensteigs.
