Der Stadtteil Dottingen (ca. 1050 Einwohner) liegt geographisch an der westlichen Grenze der Stadt Münsingen und wird geprägt vom ländlichen Charakter und einer schönen Wohnlage.

Die Buchhalde (866m) ist die höchste Erhebung der Stadt mit wunderschönem Fern-/Alpenblick. Das umfangreiche Basaltvorkommen am Eisenrüttel stellt eine Besonderheit dar.

Im Winter finden sich hier oft sehr gute Schneebedingungen zum Schneeschuhwandern, Skifahren, Langlaufen und Rodeln.

Besuchen Sie auch das Biosphärenzentrum Schwäbische Alb oder den Münsinger Bahnhof, von dem die Schwäbische Alb Bahn aus startet.
