Der Parkplatz ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die Biesenweiherrunde und für die Gschwendrunde. Die Wanderwege wurden 2018 durch das DSFT Berlin evaluiert und mit dem Zertifikat „Barrierefreiheit geprüft“ – teilweise barrierefrei für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung - ausgezeichnet.
