Mit der Bahn bis Bahnhof Kirchdorf an der Krems, weiter mit dem öffentlichen Bus der Linie 433 zur Bushaltestelle "Frauenstein/Steyr B140/Abzw. Ort". Von der Bushaltestelle sind es rund 1,7 Kilometer Fußweg auf einer Nebenstraße zur Wallfahrtskirche Frauenstein.

A9 Pyhrn - Autobahn: Abfahrt Klaus ausfahren - rechts abbiegen auf B138 (Richtung Kirchdorf/Krems) - nach ca. 500 Meter rechts abbiegen in Steyrtal-Bundesstraße B140 - nach ca. 300 Meter rechts (nach Bushaltestelle) abbiegen nach Frauenstein - Straßenverlauf "Frauensteiner Straße" bergab über Brücke Seyr-Fluss - danach ansteigend dem Straßenverlauf "Ramsauer Straße" weiter folgen bis zur Auffahrt Wallfahrtskirche Frauenstein. Kurz unterhalb der Kirche befindet sich rechterhand ein Parkplatz.

B140 Steyrtal - Bundesstraße: Steyr - Grünburg - Leonstein - Steyrdurchbruch - bei Ortschaft Kienberg links abbiegen nach Frauenstein - Straßenverlauf "Frauensteiner Straße" bergab über Brücke Steyr-Fluss - danach ansteigend dem Straßenverlauf "Ramsauer Straße" weiter folgen bis zur Auffahrt Wallfahrtskirche Frauenstein. Kurz unterhalb der Kirche befindet sich rechterhand ein Parkplatz.
