There is a wide range of telescopes available at the observatory, which are used for commented public tours of the Sun and the evening sky. However, the Brno Observatory and Planetarium is tempted to visit even in bad weather. For example, the modern hall of the digital planetarium - one of the largest planetariums in the Czech Republic - serves this purpose. It offers a wide range of performances complemented by a remarkable projection that can bring viewers not only into space but also to hard-to-reach places - under the water surface, inside the human body, the near future or the past, the microworld or macrocosm…
In the adjoining exploratory, you can even dive deeper into the secrets of natural phenomena. In the multipurpose hall, the universe can be recognized for its own sight, hearing and touch. It includes a unique exhibition of the Empire of Nebulae, which will literally engulf the images of the most beautiful space nebulae that have been acquired by the largest astronomical instruments.

V pracovní dny - nejpozději 60 minut před prvním pořadem (viz též aktuální program: http://www.hvezdarna.cz/?page_id=2879).
O víkendech a svátcích - 90 minut před prvním pořadem.
Pokladna zavírá 15 minut po skončení posledního pořadu.
