Naučná stezka vznikala a zanikala. První pokus o její zřízení se datuje ještě do dob komunismu, ale nepřetrvala. Dnes se můžete plahočit z náměstí v Lomnici na Sýkoř, kde zakončíte svou plahočivou pouť v pohlaví velkého mistra.
